WAREHOUSE & INVENTORY
Warehouse and inventory management for distribution
Track your stock in real time, from the warehouse all the way to your sales vans: inbound, outbound, supplier orders, stock counts and full traceability of every movement. Inventory management software built for distributors in Morocco.
Stock: distribution's classic blind spot
In a distribution business, stock is constantly on the move: it comes into the warehouse when supplier orders arrive, it is loaded onto the sales vans in the morning, it goes out on delivery to customers, and part of it returns to the depot at the end of the day. Every step is a chance to lose track of it.
As long as tracking relies on paper slips, loading notebooks or Excel files, discrepancies pile up: a carton not checked in at receiving, an outbound movement recorded twice, an end-of-route return never entered. Come stocktake time, no one can explain the gap between theoretical and actual stock. The result: stockouts that cost you sales on one side, and overstock tying up cash on the other.
DistrIA treats stock as what it really is: the lifeblood of your business. The Warehouse module plugs into the rest of the distribution management software — orders, routes, deliveries, invoicing — so that every movement of goods is recorded at the source, the moment it happens.
The Warehouse module: your inventory under control
The Warehouse module centralises day-to-day warehouse management. Each depot has its own inventory, kept up to date automatically by movements: receipts, outbound loads to the vans, transfers between depots, returns. The office can check available quantities at any time, product by product, location by location.

- Reports
Supplier orders are managed end to end: you create the order, follow its status, then record the goods received at the warehouse — including partial receipts. The inventory is updated as items are checked in, with no re-keying. The module's reports give you a clear read on stock levels, products below their alert threshold and the period's movements.
Vehicle stock, at the heart of van sales
In direct sales, every van is a rolling mini-warehouse. DistrIA tracks the vehicle stock of each rep: the morning load is recorded as the van leaves the depot, every sale decrements the on-board stock, and the end-of-route unload surfaces any discrepancies immediately — no more waiting for the monthly stocktake to discover something is missing.
From the field, the rep can send a stock request when a product runs low; the office sees it come in and folds it into the next loading or the following day's dispatch. This loop between the depot and the vans is covered in detail on the van sales software page.
Full traceability of every movement
The Traceability module answers the awkward stocktake question: "where did the goods go?". It brings together the tracking of flows between locations, the movement history of every product and the user activity log. For every inbound, outbound or transfer, you know who performed the operation, when, and on which depot or vehicle.
Barcode scanning makes physical operations more reliable: at receiving, when loading the vans or during a count, the operator scans the product instead of hunting for it in a list. Fewer data-entry errors, inventory discrepancies that can actually be explained, and a usable history if a dispute arises with a supplier or a customer.
Out-of-stocks at the point of sale, reported from the field
Your stock doesn't stop at the warehouse door: there is also your customers' stock. When a sales rep spots an empty shelf during a visit, they report it in a couple of taps from the mobile app. The office sees the information immediately and can trigger a restock, prioritise a delivery or adjust the next supplier order.
These reports sit alongside the other feedback your teams send in — surveys, photos, observations — described in the field reporting section. An out-of-stock stops being a piece of information lost in a phone call: it becomes a dated, located and tracked data point.
Anticipate restocking instead of enduring it. DistrIA's demand forecasting analyses your sales history to estimate upcoming needs, product by product. You place supplier orders before the stockout, not after — discover AI for distribution.
If your company already runs an ERP, DistrIA offers a SAP ERP integration: stock and movements synchronise between the two systems, with no re-keying. The field works in DistrIA, accounting and purchasing keep their system of record — and everyone looks at the same numbers.

Frequently asked questions
Can we track several warehouses and the stock in our vans?
Yes. DistrIA manages multiple warehouses or depots, each with its own inventory, as well as the on-board stock of every sales vehicle. Loadings, sales and returns update the stock of the van concerned, and the office has a consolidated real-time view of every location.
How are supplier orders handled?
The Warehouse module centralises supplier orders: you create the order, follow its status, then record the goods received at the warehouse. Every receipt, even a partial one, automatically updates the inventory of the depot concerned — no manual re-keying.
Is there traceability of stock movements?
Yes. The Traceability module keeps track of flows and the complete history of movements: inbound, outbound, transfers between depots and vehicle loadings. The activity log shows who did what and when, so you can trace the origin of every inventory discrepancy.
Does stock synchronise with our ERP?
Yes. DistrIA offers an integration with SAP ERP: stock data and movements synchronise between the two systems with no re-keying. Your logistics and accounting teams work from consistent figures on both sides.
How are out-of-stocks at the point of sale detected?
Your sales reps report them: when they spot an empty shelf during a visit, they flag it in real time from the mobile app. The office sees it immediately and can trigger a restock or adjust delivery priorities.
